Delighted to announce the accomplished milestone in a pivotal phase of the One The Esplanade project, where our primary focus centered on ensuring the compliant installation of structural steel fire protection and service penetrations. In this context, our team strategically employed the CAFCO FENDOLITE MII system, complemented over the top of a PSK 101 priming coat. This process addressed unique challenges within the car park levels. Furthermore, we undertook the intricate task of installing an HV Cable Enclosure, deftly navigating around other building services.

Compliant Passive Fire Protection

The core focus during this phase was twofold: first, to deliver meticulous fire protection for the structural steel, all while preserving the architectural finish to meet the project’s aesthetic standards. Concurrently, our objective extended to establishing a HV (High Voltage) fire rated enclosure for preinstalled conduits, strategically setting the stage for forthcoming cable upgrades.

Addressing these dual goals necessitated innovative solutions, as we aimed to not only guarantee the structural functionality of the fire protection measures but also ensure a seamless integration of these measures into the overall architectural design. Balancing the technical aspects with aesthetic considerations, our team embraced the challenges presented during this phase, pioneering solutions that harmonised both functionality and visual appeal.

Precise Passive Fire Protection

CAFCO FENDOLITE Installation:

Our first step involved the precise application of PSK 101 to enable the correct adhesion of the CAFCO FENDOLITE MII fire spray. We focused on the finish of the spray as this not only met compliance standards, but also enhanced the overall visual appeal.

HV Cable Enclosure

Western Power Cables Integration: We strategically navigated the complexities surrounding large orange conduits, ensuring a seamless integration with the client FREDON. Our QA process detailed information about internal size limitations highlight our meticulous approach.

PROMATECT L500 Subdivision

We implemented the installation of PROMATECT L500 board, carefully subdividing 2 power sources to guarantee compliance without compromising the maximum internal dimensions of the system.

Compliant Fire Penetrations

We were entrusted by several service contractors to meticulously seal fire service penetrations, ensuring strict compliance with Australian Standards and delivering exceptional expertise.
